"Center Point"
At the heart of the city, next to the Bourke shopping st. I passed by a cozy italian restaurant called "CA de VIN".
Apart from a very warm welcome, "CA de VIN" is a unique place with its own decorations style.
-Greek Dinin'-
I'm back!! after been missing for a week...didn't go out that much..so here i come again ^^
A 24 hrs restaurant at the corner of Russel and Lonsdale st. ---> "Stalactites". I think that most of you might have heard or been to this restro before as it's quite popular among the clubbing people coz here's the only place that open all night long!!
Similar to kebab, greek's signature food is more of chargrilled meats with pita bread plus many kinds of dipping sauce.
Last night i did have calamari with greek salad, mixed chargrilled (chicken & lamb) and some dippings with a yummy pita bread!!

Chillin' Out @ the same place
Don't know whether you guys feel bored of following me to dine out on Lygon st. or not but I'm really like this area.
Tonight I went there again wanted to have pizza for dinner and the place that I stopped was "Zingarella" (189 Lygon st. Carlton). This place wasn't that big, there were only 7-8 tables. However, people who served here were very welcome you with a big smiley face. Straight away I opened the menu and something was standing out said that "wooden grilled homemade pizza" so yahhh...I've tried that and it was really fabulous!!!
And you can see at the top (which I chose to put the photos up first this time) were tonight's menu: warm chicken salad, Italian saugsage with the red wine sauce, homemade special pizza ans garlic prawn with risotto.

Thai Night
After been dining out for a while I've just realized that I haven't had dinner at Thai restaurant yet. This is pretty weird!!! I am Thai but never go for Thai food!! -_-" Anyway, so tonight here I came..."Krua Thai" restaurant on Bridge Road.
Saturday night is very busy for the owner and his crews :) thank god that I did call for reservation. After sat for a while, without looking at the menu I knew already what I would like to have and here are some of the Thai signature dishes: Som Tum (papaya salad), Tom Yum pla (spicy fish soup) and Moo yang (grilled pork with traditional spicy sauce).

"Oishi"="delicious"
This evening I took my friends out to dinner as it's one of them's birth day. We decided to have a Japanese food (again) as we all agreed that "let's have something healthy" :) Today I didn't go far away but just go straight to the center of the city, "China Town". If you enter from Swanston St. just 2mins walking into China Town you'll see on the left hand side there's a small japanese restaurant called "Kimurakun".
Even the restaurant itself looks quite old from the outside, but the inside gives kinda feeling of traditional japanese style as there're not much decorations, they have just a simple wooden chairs and tables. Here, the most popular menu is "bento box". They have varieties kind of bento sets that you can choose and they come with salad and one choice of your drinks.
These are what i ate :)

"Don't be afraid of gettin' smelly"
Tonight was one of my friend's birthday and she requested that she wanted to eat Korean food. Asking from people who live here before me and they're quite expert on food :), they all said the "BEST" korean restaurant would be "HWARO". So here we go!!

I have to say that this place is charming with its own style that make you feel like having dinner at home. The servers there are also very nice and funny. About the food, they have all korean's signature dishes ex: beef bulgogi, kimchi pancake and the grills, which I "LOVE" the most. My favourite is "spicy belly pork", it's something you better try here.

HWARO's dishes are not too expensive and I'd recommend that you should take tons of your friend to go with, then you can order different kinda things.
HWARO is @ 562 Little Bourke St.

~What a good day~
I told myself that today's very good day. In Thailand, today's 09/09/09, is a special day for people to go to the temple. So I caaled up my parents asking them whether they went out anywhere today or not. And after a long talk with them, my dad told me that they were just went out to have such a great "sushi" @ the japanese restaurant that I always go when I'm back home in BKK. So with a little bit feeling jealous!! :) I chose to go had the best "sushi" for today's after class dinner as well.
I really love this place "Sakura". It's on Exhibition St. not too long if you walk from Little Collins St. then continue to walk up, crossing Swanston St. until you reach Exhibition St. and it's on the right hand side. This unique small japanese restaurant and bar, has a "sushi train" as an outstanding japanese way of eating style. The chefs and the servers all come from Japan. And I love their sushi because they have both "traditional sushi" and "fusion sushi", with a fresh ingredients everyday.
They open everyday except sunday from 11.45-15.00, 18.30-22.30
I suggest you to call for reservations before you go otherwise you won't get seats!!
Here're photos that I've always taken for you guys whenever I go out for my good choice "dinner" :)
